RW Blears advises Empirical Ventures on leading £2.5m seed investment round in BoobyBiome

RW Blears recently advised Empirical Ventures on leading a £2.5m seed fundraising in biotech BoobyBiome which announced earlier this month.

BoobyBiome, a UCL spin-out founded in 2019, is focused on preserving the beneficial microbiome in expressed breast milk and supplementing formula-fed babies with key bacterial strains. Their technology leverages the world’s largest high-resolution breast milk microbiome database along with a biobank of proprietary bacterial strains.
