RW Blears Solicitors is delighted to announce that Symvan Capital has beaten off strong competition in the head-to-head race for the title of the Best SEIS Investment Manager at the fourth annual Growth Investor Awards, organised by Intelligent Partnership. The award is sponsored by RW Blears.

Roger Blears, a Senior Partner at RW Blears, presented the hotly coveted trophy to Symvan on November 7 at a black-tie gala dinner for over 45 0 movers and shakers from the UK’s impressive SME investment community.

Symvan won considerable praise and plaudits for its excellent engagement with the industry and its great platform for outreach to potential Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) investors. Amid intense competition, Deepbridge Capital came a close second for its exceptional investment inflows, significant impact on investee companies and robust product.

Sapphire Capital Partners scooped the one to watch title for a remarkably diverse range of funds under management and its great enthusiasm for theSEIS space.

The accolade recognises providers specialising in Seed Enterprise Investment Schemes. The judges specifically looked for investment volume, performance, impact on investee companies, quality of adviser outreach and innovation in product development.

Guy Tolhurst, managing director of Intelligent Partnership, expanded on judges’ top picks:“Symvan has displayed very proactive engagement across the industry, with HM Treasury and the EIS Association in particular. It’s also really great to see the team’s considerable commitment to helping investee companies realise their potential to the fullest.” “Deepbridge Capital has demonstrated truly superior investment inflows and a formidable product line, but it was its profound impact on investee companies through Acorn that really set it apart from the competition. Sapphire Capital Partners has successfully grown its brand with promising performance. The judges were really impressed by the team’s enthusiasm forSEIS and a solid engagement with the EISA.”

The top three contenders competed for the Best SEIS Investment Manager title with two other impressive finalists: Daedalus Partners and Earthworm Capital.
